Fabrice Nordmann : Using XML within FileMaker.

THIS SESSION IS CANCELLED. THANKS TO US IMMIGRATION SECURITY POLICY, I COULDN'T GET ON THE PLANE. SORRY.

First there was a need for a nice way of passing multiple parameters to a script.
Then came the script results and variables.
And finally, I discovered that using XML was also a very nice way to make the relationship graph much simpler.
I'll try to share my enthusiasm for these -really- easy to use techniques.

XML is often regarded as a scary acronym...
So don't be afraid, this session has in fact nothing to do with real XML.
We will use it's structure, but I could even do the session without showing a single xml node.
What I'll try to share is a set a different techniques that make things EASIER, and MORE POWERFUL.
Communication between scripts (parameters, results), but also error trapping, event logs, and... data modeling !
See how using a few custom functions will make dozens of table occurrences obsolete.

So far, I have no clue where the session should take place. If someone has an idea...
